In your notes, reduce question 1 and question 2 to short labels on separate lines. Give each a direct one-sentence answer, then draft the matching body-paragraph topic sentence. The answers need not be equal in length, but both must be developable. If the second produces only an add-on such as “this is also important”, it has not been answered.
Copy out only the thesis, body-one topic sentence, body-two topic sentence, and conclusion. Mark references to the first and second questions separately: the thesis should contain both marks, each topic sentence should carry one, and the conclusion should return to both. The first missing mark is the rewrite starting point; there is no need to revise the whole essay first.
