What to confirm before writing
Prepare the full prompt, full essay, task type, and target band. Without the prompt, task response cannot be judged.
Turn the IELTS Writing problem into one diagnosable writing step that can be verified through revision. The goal is not more templates; it is knowing what to repair first in the next version.
Diagnose one real essay first, then decide what to revise next.
Only fixing grammar and replacing words can make the essay smoother while missing Task Response or development problems.
If feedback does not name one criterion, one essay evidence sentence, and one revision target, it is hard to turn into an executable revision step.
First of all, technology saves a lot of time in our daily life. For example, when we go to a new place, we do not need to ask people or remember the way, we just use the map App on the phone. Besides, we can pay by phone, buy things online and talk with friend…

Prepare the full prompt, full essay, task type, and target band. Without the prompt, task response cannot be judged.
After correction, repair only one blocker: position, development chain, paragraph coherence, word accuracy, or grammar control.
A conservative band range (not a fake number precise to 0.5), one main blocker (not twenty evenly spread comments), evidence quoted from your own essay (not "underdeveloped ideas", which fits anyone), and one revision target you can execute directly. Missing any of these, feedback stops at "noted" and never reaches "fixed". Judge a correction not by comment count but by whether, after closing the report, you know which paragraph to rewrite next and how.
Student sentence: "Government should invest more money on public transport, it can solve the traffic problem." Grammar-fix correction: change to "in public transport", fix the comma splice — now correct, but still a mechanism-free assertion. Blocker-diagnosis correction: the real issue is Task Response — invest how, turning into what, changing whose behaviour? revision direction: "If cheaper, more frequent buses make commuting faster than driving, some car owners will switch, easing peak congestion." The first saves one grammar deduction; the second turns the paragraph from assertion into argument.
Most correction clusters on grammar and word choice because sentence-level errors are easiest to mark. But what keeps essays under 6.5 usually sits in the first two criteria: incomplete position coverage and broken development chains in Task Response, and in-paragraph logic jumps in Coherence — visible only when a full paragraph is read as a unit, which sentence-by-sentence annotation structurally misses.
Do one thing: take the main blocker from the report, return to the same prompt, rewrite only the paragraph or two that were named, then compare old and new versions side by side to confirm the blocker actually moved. Do not jump to a new prompt — a new prompt re-spreads attention across every problem, right after you learned which single problem is worth the most. The same-prompt comparison is also the only way to test whether the correction itself was accurate.
