Identify the prompt requirement first
Some prompts ask only for advantages and disadvantages; others ask whether one outweighs the other. The paragraph jobs are different.
Advantages and disadvantages
An advantages/disadvantages essay needs a judgment after the advantage and disadvantage paragraphs.
If the prompt asks whether one side outweighs the other, you need a comparative judgment. Even when that wording is absent, each side needs clear development.
Advantages and disadvantages need weight as well as quantity.
Weigh the points instead of piling up a list
One well-developed disadvantage can outweigh two shallow advantages.
Outweigh needs a clear judgment
If the prompt asks which side is more important, the body and conclusion should support that judgment.
What to revise after checking
Turn each advantage or disadvantage into claim, reason, example, and consequence, then compare which side has more impact.

有 idea 不一定有结果：Task 2 主体段要把观点写成解释、例子和结果。按 claim→reason→example 查断点，再把最空的一句改成可评分论证。
Coherence
IELTS Coherence and Cohesion 的范围比 linking words 大得多。更重要的是观点顺序、段落职责、句子推进和指代是否清楚。
Task 2 checker
IELTS Task 2 essay checker 应结合题目和作文检查回应覆盖、立场、功能与论证链，语法和高级词替换放在后面。对照 TR、CC、LR 和 GRA 找出最影响目标分的一项，引用原文证据，再把问题收窄成一个 reason、example 或 consequence 的段落重写，比较修改前后是否更完整。
Advantages disadvantages questions
