First define age group, platform use, adult control, and result. Leave memorised lines about psychological harm for later.
Task 2 question
For social media and children, make children specific first.
A common issue is treating children as one group and jumping to addiction, poor grades, or weak communication. Pin down an age group and use case, or the argument stays thin.
The more specific the group, the easier the example supports the claim.
Common trap
Treating all social media as danger can miss whether the prompt asks about education, friendship, or parental control.
Diagnostic evidence
If the example could fit any technology essay, it still needs to answer the children part of the prompt.
What to revise after checking
Replace children with a specific group, such as primary school students or teenagers preparing exams, then rewrite one consequence paragraph.
