Why separate description weakens the report
If each figure is described separately, the report becomes a list. Task 1 needs the reader to see data relationships.
Task 1 comparison
Task 1 is not writing every number; it is comparing related data.
Many reports describe data from left to right and skip the comparison. The reader needs to see at a glance what is highest, what changes most, and which items belong together.
Comparison is part of Task 1 main-feature control.
Related items should sit together
Do not mechanically follow chart order; group by trend, size, or category first.
Comparison supports the overview
The main feature in the overview needs comparison in the body to prove it.
What to revise after checking
Choose two data groups that should be compared and write only four sentences: what is higher, by how much, how it changes, and why it supports the overview.
