Fogport: an IELTS Writing Game

Write a few English sentences per level, read the hints, and revise until you're happy. Task 1 is Fogport Letters. Task 2 is the Council.

What it is

No model essays to memorise. Each level gives you a letter or an issue, and you answer in your own English. Your paragraphs are saved to your works, and later levels use them again.

How each level works

  1. Read: a letter, or an issue from the Council.
  2. Write a few English sentences: follow the level's task. Hints are there if you get stuck.
  3. Check and revise: revised paragraphs are saved to your works.

Four levels are free. Membership is ¥99 for 31 days, no auto-renewal.

  • Without an account: one free review of a short question on the homepage, plus one recheck after you revise.
  • Signed in: the first 3 levels of Fogport Letters and the first level of the Council are free, plus one more short-question review.
  • Membership: ¥99 for 31 days, all levels. One-time payment, no auto-renewal.
  • Refunds: a full refund is available within 7 days of payment if you have not yet completed the advanced levels. If you completed them before, including during an earlier membership, a new order cannot be fully refunded.

FAQ

Do I need an essay first?
No. The first level asks for one or two English sentences.
What level of English do I need?
If you can write simple English sentences, you can start. Each level says how much to write and what to write.
How long is a level?
Short levels take 3–5 minutes. Levels with a full essay can be written over several sessions.
How much is free?
After sign-in, the first 3 levels of Fogport Letters and the first level of the Council are free. Other levels need membership.
How much is membership?
¥99 for 31 days, paid once, no auto-renewal. When it ends, everything you wrote stays and you can still read it.
Is the game in English?
Not yet. The game screens are in Chinese for now. You write in English.
